About us

Cloth diapers and sustainable design / textiles are my passion.

Welcome to I WEAR. My business was founded in 2023 and I want to revolutionize the textile industry with it. That sounds very ambitious, but users like us have a big impact on the market. I believe that we can contribute to a better future, just as my rainbow baby gave me a better future.

My way...

It all started with just 7 diaper covers...

We have been using cloth diapers for almost 2 years and have more than 200 cloth diapers from around 50 brands. Building up such a large collection was not the goal at the beginning. We started with 7 diaper covers and 25 inserts. The shape of the first overpants did not fit Emma's body. On top of that, my daughter has grown so quickly and her body and habits have changed so quickly that I simply could not order the new sizes and other systems of cloth diapers fast enough. In the 6th month we were already at size L and trying out new cloth diapers became my hobby.

What was missing during all this time...

As a former IT project manager and a very structured, analytical person, it was extremely difficult for me to make decisions about which brands and sizes we needed. Unfortunately, there was no comparison or test like with cell phones, for example, to check certain capabilities. I wanted to compare absorbency, size, material, prices, and thus make an objective decision. So I started to structure the information provided by manufacturers and retail websites in a system and test many different cloth diapers.

At some point the absorbency of our inserts were no longer enough,

and Emma's diaper bottom kept getting bigger. I really wanted to avoid her having problems developing movement. I started looking again and accidentally found Zorb absorbent material. I quickly decided to sew the inserts myself. We were amazed by the absorbency, and still had small diaper bottoms. I explained my friends our story, and they wanted to try it too, so I had to sew more inserts. During these months I didn't stop looking for sustainable fabrics and found several more. Then I was convinced that I wanted to invest more time in it and founded IWEAR.

Cloth diapers have raised our awareness for further developments in the home...

In my family, we no longer use disposable feminine hygiene products, toilet paper, and have also replaced many household textiles with sustainable textiles. It didn't take that much time or energy, believe me.

I also found the WIWA association and completed their training and became a certified cloth diaper consultant.

In addition, cloth diaper consulting, trading and manufacturing is my biggest goal to make women and families aware that sustainable textiles such as cloth diapers are not only better for the environment, but also worthwhile in terms of health and financially.

But more during my workshops, or individual consultations...

I am proud that the fabrics used by IWEAR are specially developed for nursing and diapering, and all our products are made in Austria and Hungary. We pay attention to a fair partnership with our employees and partners.

This is more than just environmental protection. You are supporting the revolution in the textile industry with your purchase.
